Dearborn Police to Host Town Hall Meetings
Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad will meet with residents at a town hall meeting on Nov. 4.
The Dearborn Police Department and Chief Ronald Haddad will be holding a series of town hall meetings to discuss crime prevention and any other topics that might be on the minds of residents.
Representatives from the Dearborn Police Department will also explain the specific ways the department serves the community.
The following is a schedule of the free Town Hall Meetings:
• 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 19
Bryant Middle School, 460 North Vernon St.
• 7 p.m. Thursday, October 27
City Council Chambers, Dearborn City Hall, 13615 Michigan Ave.
The final town hall meeting is scheduled for Nov. 2 at Dearborn Public Schools Administrative Building (Ten Eyck), 18700 Audette. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m.
Items on the agenda for the Town Hall meetings include:
• Meet Police Chief Haddad
• Learn about crime patterns in your neighborhood
• Police vehicle display
• Free child identification kits
• Crime prevention material and tips

• Open discussion

Believe me Haddad is simply doing this per the Big Boy, in order to get yes votes next month for the Big Fella, its not going to work, you should be there yourself selling this for next month Big Boy. We have a group of people who are going against your requst if O’Reilly soesn’t show his mug at this event. If you want our votes show up yourself instead of your puppet.

Mr. Leavens you are absolutely correct, the Big Boy is starting his propoganda to try and pass his issues for the November ballot, I personally feel the Dearborn residents can see thru this, and will vote NO on all the issues on the ballot. We are down with you Big Guy, and your cronies. Trust me Haddad doesn’t really want to face the voters, Big Boy has him doing it, so he doesn’t have to, until its the 11th hour.

Nice timing for the Chief to appear just before the election proposals, just a coincidence. Watch for all the B.S. that will be spilled by him, per the guy pulling his strings. How come he hasn’t spoke before this type of group before?

In the 2nd quarter of 2011, the Chief was at a Dearborn Federation of Neighborhoods Association (DFNA) meeting and he gave everyone there a copy of the crime report for Dearborn. It was divided up into 8 zones – 3 in west Dearborn, 3 in east Dearborn and the 8th was Fairlane. I found this report extremely interesting and helpful, as did most everyone else at this meeting.
Regardless of who may have authorized this report, IMHO, it was refreshing to finally see this type of transparency in city government. I think most of you will find the report interesting as well and the Chief is very open when you ask him any questions pertaining to this report and crime in Dearborn.
