I saw the City Council Candidate Forum last night.

I liked most of what I saw from the newbies. I would have liked the candidates to be able to elaborate a little more about their ideas but I understand about the time constraints.

There was pathetic name dropping from Hubbard and Hart. If that’s your only mantra….

The incumbents really had nothing new to offer. They seem to love the status quo.

My two sense too is so right. Time for some of our dinosaurs to step aside. I would like to see the voters pick a handful of people who have produced and a few promising newbies. Don’t fill your card up with 7 names. That’s how the same old, same old gets re-elected. Sayed is telling his people to vote for him only to increase his chances of coming in on the top. It worked in the primary for him. I hope the rest of us will try that with our favorite candidates.

Time to eliminate the old codgers, like Hart & Hubbard — give us some newcomers. Thomas you can hit the road too.
